Model 1718 tube television, known as "Il Marziano". It features an adjustable 17-inch cathode-ray tube screen in metal and black plastic. There is a wooden cabinet that houses the controls. The unit stands on four round-section black metal legs with brass accents and casters.
Produced by Phonola in 1957 and designed by Sergio Berizzi, Cesare Buttè and Dario Montagni. The logo appears on the wooden cabinet. Instruction manual included.
Good condition, with light, scattered signs of wear. Fully functional when connected to a digital terrestrial receiver and a frequency modulator (neither of which is included).
