Mechanical cash register manufactured by the National Cash Register Company (NCR), dating from the early decades of the 20th century and later adapted for use with the Italian lira. The machine features a nickel-plated metal body decorated with floral motifs in the Art Nouveau style. It is mounted on a solid wooden base with a cash drawer. The front features a keyboard composed of several columns of circular celluloid keys, while the top is crowned by a decorative indicator bearing the word "cassa”. A distinctive feature of this piece is its built-in receipt printer. Art Nouveau style
