Wooden cat jewelry box or object holder, 1920s

Jewelry box with retractable compartment in the shape of a lying cat, entirely made of dark wood. The cat's features are stylized. The sliding compartment is on the cat's belly. When closed, this box may look like a small sculpture. This box is perfect as a container or object holder.
