Produced by Gavina in 1960s and designed by Giacomo Balla in 1916-18.
Bought in the early 1980s and belonged to the artist and designer Ennio Chiggio. In October 1982, Ennio Chiggio organized the Ultramobile exhibition at the TOT Gallery in Padova, which he directed, collaborating with his historic friend Dino Gavina. On that occasion, Balla's Screen Separè was exhibited, which later remained the property of Chiggio. The friendship between the two dates back to the foundation, in the 1960s, of the Duchamp Center in Bologna, for which Chiggio edited the entire series of posters and invitations.
