Foldable and adjustable floor coat hanger mod. Shanghai in wood. The structure is made up of eight square section slats, which, like the Chinese game of the same name from which it takes inspiration, open together, thanks to a central metal washer that allows the swivel movement. Once opened, a round base is created. In the upper part the slats are shaped.
Produced by Zanotta in 1970s and designed by De Pas D'Urbino Lomazzi in 1973. This coat hanger won the Compasso d'Oro in 1979 and is present in important design museums such as the MoMA in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan. Present logo of the brand and the Compasso d'Oro.
Good condition, with signs of use and age.
