Set of four chairs mod. Carimate in black lacquered wood with glossy finish and straw seat. The armrests and backrest have a rectangular section and have decorative "bulges" in the structure of the legs corresponding to the insertion of the seat. The four legs have a round section.
Produced by Cassina in 1970s and designed by Vico Magistretti. The name of the series is due to the original destination of the furniture, the Carimate Golf Club in Como, which Magistretti designed in 1959. The chair was exhibited at the XII Tiennale in 1960.
Good condition, with signs of use and age and defects on the wooden structures.
