Aluminum panel or brise-soleil, from the facade of the school in Beziers, France. The structure is composed of an aluminum frame with a golden finish which supports seven sunshade bands, also in aluminium, moved by a chain gear placed inside the uprights.
Despite its formal grandeur it weighs less than 30 kg.
The project was designed by Jean Prouvé in 1956 and was then built between 1962 and 1965.
Good general condition, some signs of aging and dents but fully restored.
