Hourglass enclosed within a rectangular wooden and glass case, featuring four feet attached to the structure by small brass L-shaped brackets on both the upper and lower sides. At the centre of the two bases is a decorative brass plaque with the cardinal points and a hanging brass ornament. The hourglass contains white sand, while the wooden sides feature two porthole-style glass panels secured and decorated with metal rings.
