Italian model Plia chair by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli, 1970s
Chair mod. Plia characterized the design of the 70s and has become an object of worship. With steel frame, seat and back in brown polypropylene, it represents the realization of “democratic design” and is exhibited at the MoMa museum in New York. Designed by Giancarlo Pirretti, it was presented at the Milan Furniture Fair in 1967, obtaining a lot of public acclaim and then immediately produced by Anonima Castelli.
Good structural condition, but some chromed part is missing in the low part and seat reports some small sign.
