National mechanical cash register, adapted for use with the Italian lira. The machine features a nickel-plated metal body decorated with floral motifs in the Art Nouveau style. It is mounted on a solid wooden base with a cash drawer. The front features a keyboard composed of several columns of circular celluloid keys, while the top is crowned by a decorative indicator bearing the word "cassa”.
